Why go to El Tunco El Salvador

The sand is a soft grayish black, with not too many rocks in most areas. The sunset lights up the sky with a fireball orange red color, especially if it’s cloudy.

Most areas you can walk without shoes, but footwear is advised.






A walkable shopping district which includes hotels, restaurants and music; this creates a diverse cultural atmosphere. The Parking is abundant because the car parking is in a different district a few blocks away. This creates an open, walkable and relax town.

It’s a Surfer’s Paradise and one of top 10 surfing spots in the world, board rentals and lessons are easy to buy. They are encouraging bitcoin exchanges because it’s close to the famous bitcoin beach.


Unfortunately this young lady died in a surfing accident, so they honored her with this statue.

The warm weather, awesome waves, great food and drinks and friendly people playing and listening to music will attract me to visit this area again for more rest and recreation.
